Dealer Amplify (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates a dealership inventory management platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: Name, email address, and authentication credentials provided through our identity provider (Clerk).
- Dealership data: Vehicle inventory details, contact records, and company information you enter into the platform.
- Third-party integration data: When you connect third-party services (such as Google Ads), we collect and store OAuth tokens and account identifiers necessary to maintain the connection and perform actions on your behalf. This includes Google Ads account IDs, campaign data, and performance metrics.
- Usage data: Server logs and basic analytics to maintain and improve the service.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the Dealer Amplify platform.
- To manage your vehicle inventory and publish listings to connected platforms.
- To create and manage Google Ads campaigns and display campaign performance metrics on your behalf.
- To synchronize data with third-party integrations you have authorized.
- To communicate with you about your account or the service.
4. Google User Data
When you connect your Google Ads account, we request access to manage your Google Ads campaigns and view performance data. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically:
- We only access Google Ads data necessary to provide the features you use within Dealer Amplify (campaign management and reporting).
- We do not sell, share, or use your Google data for advertising purposes unrelated to operating your campaigns.
- We do not allow humans to read your Google data unless you provide affirmative consent, it is necessary for security purposes, or it is required by law.
- Google OAuth refresh tokens and access tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption.
5. Data Storage and Security
- All sensitive credentials (OAuth tokens, API keys) are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.
- Data is stored in managed database services with access restricted to authorized personnel.
- All network communication occurs over HTTPS/TLS.
- We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we remove your data within 30 days.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:
- Third-party integrations you authorize: When you connect a service (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Marketplace), we transmit the data necessary to operate that integration.
- Service providers: We use infrastructure providers (hosting, database, file storage) that process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
7. Your Rights
You may at any time:
- Disconnect integrations: Revoke third-party access from within your Dealer Amplify settings. For Google specifically, you can also revoke access at Google Account Permissions.
- Request data export: Contact us to receive a copy of your data.
- Request deletion: Contact us to delete your account and associated data.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date.
